8A-Solving the Problem
The opportunity is that people need their lawn taken care of when they can not do it themselves. I will be offering a full service lawn care business. I will cut peoples grass, trim their trees, edge their sidewalks, blow out their gutters, and also blow off driveways. There will always be a need for people to get their landscaping done. Living in Florida the grass always needs to be done at least every two weeks and sometimes once a week. If I offer an all around service where they will not have to do anything outside of their house or business, they would be satisfied. People are working more than ever and if people have the money they will always pay for convenience. There is competition in lawn care because there is a lot of lawn companies. I want a lawn company that will draw out a plan for the lawn care that will be done and offer better customer service than any other lawn service company.

Your right that there is always an opportunity with people needing their lawn taken care of and in Florida it needs done year round in most places. I like your plan to separate from other lawn companies. One thing to consider is keeping up with all of those services and keeping good customer service will likely require a couple employees. Thus, how many lawns will you need at one cost to still be profitable.
ReplyDeleteHey Peter, I completely agree with your opportunity. There will always be a need to maintain landscape and its not a task that most people enjoy doing. For some people they may not even have access to the machinery because it is not affordable. Taking a very overlooked need and capitalizing on it to make it an opportunity is a perfect idea.
