26A- Celebrating Failure
Failure is something people will always experience. If you are not failing then you are not pushing yourself. If you would have asked me a few months ago I would have told you that I do not like failure. Now I enjoy it because I look at failure as a new lesson I am learning in life. Earlier this year I experienced a big failure. I was attempting to start a business to start selling items on ebay for a profit. I was buying items at thrift stores and at garage sales on the weekend. I listed all of the items on ebay and was waiting for them to sell. I cam home one day and all of my items that I was going to sell were stolen by a family member. It was a big failure because people had purchased a couple of the items and I needed to ship them. The lesson I learned was to lock away my items beause I can not trust people to not steal them.

Hey Peter, I really love your insight here on the ability to fail. In my post I also agreed that failure is very important to future success. And that. I really like your story about failure, and learning not to trust everyone, even if they're your family. I think next time you know you'll have to secure your merchandise and keep it safe from others.
ReplyDeleteHey Peter,
ReplyDeleteI think you are spot on with your statement that failure is something everyone experiences and if you aren't failing then you aren't pushing yourself. I believe that there will always be speed bumps along the way and how you will have to respond to them. I have found sometimes the best way to learn is when you fail and realize how bad it tastes.
Hi, Peter. This is a great post. I agree. I think everyone fails and failure is a part of growth. Failure is a part of learning and we never stop learning. As we grow our businesses and create products, we will fail and that's okay. It just helps us to learn what not to do next time and figure out better paths to take. Keep up the good work.
